Dear gurus,
I am relatively new to SAP CRM and I am stuck on the concept of Business Partner Account -Vs- Business Partner Category can someone please help me understand this. In the SAP CRM Manuals these two concepts are separated. This seems to be confusing to me Accounts (Ex: Individual, Corporate, and Group) with Business Partner Categories. In the manual the Business Partner Categories sort of points to the same as in accounts (Person, Organization, Group). So why is it mentioned separately in the Book? My idea is that If your categorizing your Business Partner into one of these account types, then what is the point to further categorize them into the same thing?
I have to give a presentation on this but I don't feel confident on the above point. Thanks for your help guys.
